003: Getting Started

You will want to collect or obtain the following:

BROKER ACCOUNT NUMBER: Login to your brokerage account and copy your account number exactly as it's shown. You may want to download/request your account trade history from your broker while logged in.

You will need the account number when creating an account

Account numbers are usually a combination of numbers and/or letters: 12345, A12345, A-12345, 12345B, 12345-B, C01-12345-A

Give Stocklog+ a test run. You can use all the features of Stocklog+ without a license, including importing unlimited number of trades; however, in demo mode it will ONLY show/view the first 12 rows of data. This gives you the ability to try it out and make sure Stocklog+ is valuable in your trading journey - without expiring on you, so take your time!

GET A LICENSE: Once you've decided it's a fit, visit the Subscribe tab. You will see all subscription options to choose from. Make sure to use a stable e-mail address, it's connected with your license/subscription account. After you subscribe, you will receive a Welcome e-mail containing your SUBCRIPTION ID; you will want to keep it for reference. You will also receive an e-mail requesting you to click on the link and activate your billing portal, you will need to do this. Once your in the billing portal you can retrieve your subscription ID if you've lost your welcome e-mail:

0: Click on SUBSCRIPTIONS

1: You will see all your subscriptions listed, click on the subscription

2: The last portion of the URL in your browser is the subscription ID!

The SUBSCRIPTION ID is your LICENSE KEY

DECIDE ON COMPUTER: Your license is tied to the computer you register/activate it on. Once you've registered the license within Stocklog+ you can not use/move the database to another computer, if you do - it will eventually expire itself and return to demo mode.

All subscription terms are displayed before you purchase. You can cancel subscriptions by visiting the billing portal. Subscriptions expire at the end-of-each-term, your never trapped into an annual license; try to cancel at least two (2) days before the next renewal to give the system time to respond to the request. The license will cancel at the end of it's monthly billing cycle. Be sure to read our Terms of Service!
