Stocklog+ Download

001: Where to download Stocklog+

Always download files from https://www.xenminds.com to make sure you're receiving the most up-to-date version.

Once you're on the download page, choose any location to download the application. All versions are the same, the difference in file size is due to the compression engine used.

UNZIP the file and you will have a folder named stocklog, cut/paste it anywhere on your system, even to a USB key if that's where you ultimately wish to store the application.

stocklog.exe is contained within the stocklog folder with no setup installer, we do not modify your system; this was by design so you could move the folder anywhere/anytime on your system as you wish. It also allows for Linux & MAC users to easily run it within a virtual OS.

Info
Two folders to know about:

data_import: Folder is where you will place your broker .CSV files for import into the database. See Importing .CSV Files
dbs: This folder holds the database. The only reason to access this folder is if you're database has become totally inoperable and you need to start over without downloading the application again. See Deleting The Database
