004: Main Screen
Let's look at the main window, this is where you will spend most of your time:

0: Subscription Indicator: A lock 🔒 indicates an unregistered version while a key 🔑 indicates registered. Register in the Settings tab
1: Account Dropdown: A list of all accounts created. Accounts can not be deleted once created at this time, but can be toggled between Active/Inactive. See Accounts
2: Broker Logo: If a broker logo is available for the account, it will be displayed here. Stocklog+ logo indicates no logo found at this time... submit one!
3: Floating Summary: The summary information shifts around as needed depending on other displayed items. See Trade Details Part-1
4: XEN quick menu: Right clicking on the XENMINDS logo presents a menu of items, this replaces the standard menu bar
5: Search: Type in anything here and search will attempt to locate it in the listed rows, each click will move the search forward until it loops around
6: Trade Detail Window: Rows of each trade sorted by OpenDate (default)
7: Status Bar: Different messages will appear on this line depending on what action your performing, if there is an error, or in the message above, it's summarizing closed items by TYPE
8: Window sizer: Expand or shrink the window size using any location below the status bar, moving right/left and up/down.
NOTE: Most actions (add, delete, view, summary detail, imports, etc.) will ONLY affect the account you are currently in, which is identified by #1 - the listed account selected.
Window Tips:
1. CTRL + RIGHT-MOUSE-BUTTON = Drag window around the screen
2. CTRL + SHIFT + R = Rehome window back to primary monitor
3. ESC Key = Immediate shutdown. Small possibility of data loss
TECHNICAL: Lazy, Lazy, Lazy! (Remember: Stocklog+ is a journal / diary / log application, not a real-time stock trading application!) 😁
Stocklog+ is a lazy program! 😴 Please be patient when Stocklog+ starts for the first time, it is loading all stock symbol graphics and retrieving stock quotes for the account.
Lazy screen updates: Some fields only update after something has been triggered, i.e. close the trade, stock price auto-updates...
Lazy stock price quoting update: Stocklog+ updates the ClosePPS (Price Per Share) once an hour by default and will only update a random 15 max unique symbols at a time. The stock update will be used for ALL accounts that contain the same symbol. The stock quotes are from Yahoo! and free (Thanks Yahoo!), but you can only request so much data at a time before you will be throttled back or blocked. Stocklog+ respects the limits and tries to mitigate the requests by using caching and time limits for stock updates.
